SP Young Chef 2015: Meet the 20 Mentors

Let's introduce you the 20 mentors the young chefs taking part in the Grand Final have been paired with: they all spent months perfecting their finalist dishes.

In just two days time 20 chefs from around the world arrive in Italy for the Grand Final of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 - the first ever search to discover the best young chefs in the world. It started almost six months ago with over 3,000 chefs signing up to take part in the event. Since then there’s been thousands of dishes, tastings, notes and a final selection of 20 chefs who will cook for the jury of famous chefs in Milan, Italy.

The young chefs taking part in the Grand Final have all spent months practising and perfecting their dishes, but they haven’t been alone. Each of them has been paired with their very own mentor - a well known chef already working in the industry - who has been on hand to help them improve their dish, work on presentation, answer any questions or just offer some words of wisdom and support.

Each of the mentors have had their own successful careers and all of them come from very different backgrounds, styles, countries and disciplines. We have spent the last few months interviewing all of the mentors and now’s your chance to meet them all individually.
