Announcement: Grand Finale postponed to October 2021
The conclusion of the next S.Pellegrino Young Chef, the world’s greatest culinary talent search, will now take place 29-30 October in Milan.
After considerable reflection, S.Pellegrino regrets to announce that the Grand Finale of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition in Milan has been postponed to 29-30 October 2021.
The safety of participants and top chefs, together with media, influencers and partners from around the world is S.Pellegrino’s number one priority and thus the decision has been made, given the ongoing global health situation, to delay the event.
However, after such challenging and uncertain times, S.Pellegrino looks forward to an even more memorable occasion in October and to celebrating a significant restart of the hospitality sector alongside all those who share its passion for the transformative power of gastronomy.
Since the inception of S.Pellegrino Young Chef in 2015, the aim of the competition has been to identify and nurture the best young talents with the potential to create positive change in society through food. It’s what has made the Grand Finale such an important date in the global culinary calendar.
While we all await the Grand Finale, S.Pellegrino is continuing in its efforts to support that goal and the industry at large, by launching projects such as the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy that will help to strengthen global communities and nurture the game-changing culinary talent of the future.
