Anne-Sophie Taurines Wins the Switzerland Challenge

Anne-Sophie Taurines is the young chef selected to represent Switzerland in the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 final.

Anne-Sophie Taurines has been announced as the winner of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef local challenge in Switzerland, and will advance to the world Grande Finale competition taking place on October 13, 2016 in Milan, Italy.

Competing head to head in a live cooking competition Taurines was up against 9 other local semi-finalists each presenting their signature dish to a jury composed of four renowned chefs—including André Jaeger, Martin Dalsass, Lorenzo Albrici and Robert Speth.

Taurines dish of marinated and hay-smoked salmon, garden vegetables, rocket/green apple/ginger sauces, condiments won her the title, successfully fulfilling the judging criteria of the five “Golden Rules”: ingredients, skills, genius, beauty and message.

The young talent from Verbier will now have time to perfect her dish up until the grand final under the guidance of mentor André Jaeger.
