As the regional finals for the next edition of S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition approach, you have the chance to choose the winner of the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award 2022-23.

 

What is the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award?

 

The award, which is given to the chef who best represents her or his personal beliefs with a dish, is voted for by Fine Dining Lovers readers, chefs and foodies. It’s a collateral award that sits alongside the main prize, with the global winner revealed at the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition 2022-23 Grand Finale. The other collateral awards are the S.Pellegrino Award for Social Responsibility and the Acqua Panna Award for Connection in Gastronomy.

 

How do I vote for the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award?

 

You have the chance to vote for your favourite young chef a few weeks before each regional final, via this dedicated mini-site. You should choose the chef who best represents her or his personal beliefs with a signature dish. Please note, voting closes 72 hours prior to each regional final. The regional winners will then have to chance to compete for the global title. 

 

Who won the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award in 2019-21?

 

Chef Andrea Ravasio from the Iberian & Mediterranean region won the award at S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition 2019-21, with his signature dish ‘El Domingo del Campesino’ celebrating the local produce of the Canary Islands.
